WeatherSeal comes in a variety of stunning designer colors. Because the final color will always vary in real world conditions, Total WoodCare has shown renderings of all the colors on two different wood substrates to give a sense of the color range likely depending on your choice. We hope this helps you make your color selection easier!
WeatherSeal is a tough, durable barrier against weather. 100% oil/resin based with special performance boosters to provide additional protection against the elements.
Shields the wood against harmful UV rays. UV blocking transparent iron oxide pigments give WeatherSeal its translucent beauty while maintaining the natural wood look for a longer period of time.
Exceptional water resistance. Protects the wood fibers against the extremes of wet/dry and freeze/thaw cycles.
Resists discoloration. Holds color longer and helps keep the coated surface looking clean and unblemished.
Fortified with Borates. Formulated with over 3% sodium borate to help replenish some of the borate salts that have a tendency to wash off the surface of uncoated, borate treated wood.
Low VOC clean air formula. No hazardous air pollutants (HAPS) and no ozone depletors. Meets all environmental regulations.

Excellent natural loghome protection!
I have used this product for over 18 years protecting our loghome which is situated on the NW end of a lake. The east and south sides are exposed to serious wind, rain and moisture impacts. Weather seal performs exceptional under our conditions protecting and maintaining our loghome.

Weatherseal exterior stain
This is the only stain we have used on our log home. We just re-stained it after 5 years and you couldn't tell that we had done it. The stain after 5 years still looked brand new.

Works for me
I built my Northeast Log home in 1995 with then purchasing 50 gallons of weatherseal, no I did not need than many to coat the home. I have used the last five gallons on the home several years ago with now needing to purchase another 10 gallons. I find the product easy to work with it being exactly what it claims to be....a weather seal for your home. Shipping was only two days (although I live one state away) with product arriving on time for a fun weekend on the ladder. I do feel that the price is a little high but compared to other products that are similar this can not be beat.
